Dear members of the Unitarian Universalist Studies Network,

On behalf of the board of directors, I am delighted to invite you to our ANNUAL MEETING for all members!

This virtual meeting will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, June 8, at 5 pm ET/4 pm CT/3 pm MT/2 pm PT.

We will provide updates on our activities over the past year, including the process of getting our new organization up and running. We will also discuss the programs we have inherited from Collegium and the UU History and Heritage Society.

Board of Directors

I am also pleased to announce our nominations of officers and Board of Directors for next year! During the past year, all of our leadership served one-year terms in order to facilitate the transition from our predecessor organizations. We are now ready to conduct an election following the provisions laid out in our bylaws, with candidates standing for election to one-, two-, and three-year terms. Our board functioned as a nominating committee of the whole, and we are thrilled to nominate:

All members of the UU Studies Network are welcome to participate in the election of our officers and directors. The election will be conducted electronically on our UU Studies Network website. It will open on June 1 and close at the beginning of the annual meeting.

Our bylaws also allow members to nominate additional candidates by petition. Such petitions may be filed with the secretary either by an accountability partner organization or by five members in good standing. Such petitions should be submitted to Dan McKanan at dmckanan@hds.harvard.edu by May 31.
